Metal material to resist pressure head (hardened steel ball or diamond indenter with 1200 cone or pyramid) is called hardness on the surface of the sag. According to different test methods and the applicable scope, the hardness can be divided into brinell, rockwell, vickers hardness, shore hardness and micro hardness, high temperature hardness, etc.
Metallurgical products commonly used is the brinell hardness and rockwell hardness.
